This gathering was conceived as a way to facilitate frank and useful discussion about the processes involved in finding and completing the mandatory predoctoral and post-doctoral internship experiences. Those available to speak include previous internship site-directors, current doctoral and post-doctoral interns, and early career professionals. Topics covered will include experiential accounts of these major events, tips and suggestions for navigating the application process, stories from individuals who have gone through APPIC and who have created their own internship experiences, and feedback from previous site-directors who can comment on applications and training from the training-site perspective. This will be a conversational and informal event. Dinner and refreshments (including vegan and gluten free options) will be provided.
